Dr. Jukka Pakkanen has started as AM Development Manager with Salon Metalelektro.
He has a phd in Materials Science and Technology from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. His doctoral studies and research were conducted in regards for Additive Manufacturing. The doctoral thesis topic is: Designing for Additive Manufacturing – Product and Process Driven Design for Metal and Plastic Materials.
After graduation he has been working in Central Europe, Austria, in automotive and aviation sector. He has extensive knowledge in regards of Additive Manufacturing in different applications.
With the new addition to the team, SME will be able to provide more wholesome service from design to ready AM-parts to our customers.
